ABA therapy at home can help your child improve social cues, emotional responsiveness, communication skills, self-care, and focus. These sessions are tailored to your child’s individual needs and can help them make long-lasting, life-changing improvements in their daily lives.
ABA therapy in a clinic setting allows children to interact with and learn from their peers while receiving one-on-one therapy in a highly structured and supportive environment. In addition, our state-of-the-art clinics provide social skills groups, advanced communication development, and school readiness programs in small groups of children of similar age and skill level.
A Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will assess your child’s behavior and reactions to triggers in their environment during a functional behavioral analysis. This evaluation will also address non-academic factors that may contribute to a child’s frustration with learning or acquiring new skills. The BCBA will then create a customized treatment plan that will guide the therapy sessions going forward.
Parents are the child’s first and most direct line of care. As a result, all of our treatment plans include a strong parent training component. This includes gathering parental input on therapy and educating parents so they have the tools to effectively incorporate therapy goals at home.
Our aim is to provide your child with all-encompassing support that promotes consistency and positive reinforcement in their social, academic, and home environments. Our specialists collaborate with your child’s school to develop effective teaching methods that incorporate the principles and methods of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Together, we can improve the therapy’s success and accelerate its progress.
